Background & Description

The organization is looking for experienced and competitive trainers. Through this program, the organization will train to local rural women of Orakzai agency in the trade of Home textiles, Ada Work with embroidery, and Cutwork designing with embroidery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to manage the classroom and motivate to local women regarding ensuring their attendance.
• Able to display the lesson plan on daily basis according to the recognized curricula.
• Able to conduct training in Pashto (local language) for the understanding and the convenience of participants.
• Assist in preparing the training Manual (Home textiles, Ada Work with embroidery and fashion designing with embroidery) to ensure effective learning takes place.
• Mobilization skill for success and sustainability of the project, create competition within trainee regarding creation of the new design.
• To capacitate training participants with different techniques and designs according to new trends.

Job Location: District Orakzai. Locals from Orakzai would be preferred. 

Knowledge, Experience, skills and abilities:

• Minimum Higher secondary school certificate with at least 6 years’ experience of conducting training on Home textiles, Ada Work with embroidery and fashion designing with embroidery
• Diploma or certification in respective trade from the government or any reputed institute.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of the local language Pashto is mandatory
• Willingness to work and stay in District Orakzai.
• Physical fitness to work in a hard environment.
• Sensitive to local culture and gender practices in the areas.
