We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team. As one of the Developers, you will be working with the rest of the live team to provide a great client experience. We work in a fun, fast-paced, agile environment with a team excited about adding new members to accomplish more features. All our applications are 100% native and use the latest design guidelines.  

Duties: 

• You'll work with Android, iOS & Web developers to develop backend services that meet their needs * Your primary focus will be the development of all server- side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front- end.  
• Identify libraries and technologies that solve our problems and/or are worth experimentation  
• Verify user feedback in making the system more stable and easier  
• Build available and scalable backend web services and customer- facing APIs.  
• Experience in agile methodologies like Scrum.  
• Good understanding of branching, build, deployment, continuous integration methodologies.  

Requirements:

• Hands on experience in Python and familiarity with at least one framework, preferably Flask, Django etc. 
• Experience in third party integrations.  
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySql - MariaDB)  
• Comfortable with search engines like ElasticSearch.  
• Hands on experience of AWS services.  
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git/SVN.  
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills.  
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.  
• Good analytical and problem- solving skills. Good to have:  
• Hands on experience on Docker & Kubernetes  
• Good exposure in writing and optimizing SQL(such as PostgreSQL) for high- performance systems with large Database.  
• Exposure at handling server setup & server side issues and quick resolution.  
• Experience working on scalable, high availability applications/services.
