IRC has been working in Pakistan for approximately 40 years, managing and delivering large, complex programs to meet the needs in health, education, safeguarding, environmental health and livelihoods for displaced, poor and disaster affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and is currently working across the country. 

Job Overview/Summary:

Since 2010, the IRC Pakistan has been improving health outcomes for W&Gs by addressing critical healthcare and SRH issues (especially for youth and adolescents) and been offering GBV prevention and response services through WGSS and community-based protection mechanisms, primarily focusing on conflict-affected populations and refugees in KPK. The current unprecedented global public health crises (COVID-19) shaken human life as a whole and have doubled the miseries of the people and raise the need of humanitarian services. There has been untold suffering and loss for families across the world. For countries like Pakistan that are already experiencing humanitarian crises and are comprised of highly vulnerable populations, COVID has placed even more pressure on basic services, resource, infrastructure, and systems.

Keeping in view of more pressing communal needs IRC Pakistan with the name of Canadian Global Affairs (GAC) launching new project with a title “Women and girls’ health and safety needs in Pakistan are addressed and met during COVID-19 in 2021/22”. The aim of the project is to improve the health and wellbeing of women and girls, with a focus on those with reduced access to Reproductive Health (RH), Women Protection and Support (WPS) services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

IRC is looking for a competent candidate to be hired as Office Aid based at Swat office with the following major responsibilities.

  • The Office Aide will be responsible for providing support services to the team at the office.
  • Prepare and serve tea to staff and keep the kitchen and utensils in order.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the office, i-e office furniture, fixtures/equipments on daily basis.
  • Support the team in making Photocopies, collect, sort, and distribute documents, as requested.
  • Ensure that photocopy machine is maintained and used properly.  Identify and report maintenance problems timely if any.  Keep photocopy machines stocked with paper and supplied with toner.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned,

Job Requirements:

a)      Education:

          Matriculation ( Preferably )

b)      Work Experience:

           Previous working experience with NGO/INGO

c)       Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • Basic literacy
  • Responsiveness to direction and willingness to learn.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks.

Knowledge to operate Photocopier

  • Soft nature / cool minded

Language Skills:

  • Must be fluent in Urdu & Pashto.

Others: 

Working Environment:  Works well in coordination and facilitates teamwork, flexible and able to handle pressure well
