The Position

Contour Software requires Experienced SQA Automation Analyst, to join the team at our Lahore office, to work as part of one of our divisions’ R&D departments. The hired candidate will be working on a vertical-focused enterprise application that provides central, cloud-based hub for managing the eCommerce and POS that can be accessed any time from any Computer. 

The ideal candidate should have significant experience and expertise in Automation Testing, to help ensure high quality and timely delivery of multiple releases.

Required Qualification/Technical Skills

• University/College education or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in testing and automating web-based Enterprise Applications.
• Strong experience in working with Selenium, Java/C#/Python, TestNG/N-Unit (Frameworks) etc.
• Experience in programming and ability to develop algorithms.
• Well equipped with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Ajax, Java Scripting etc. 
• Experience with MS SQL queries.
• Experience in configuration management/Source code control systems such as TFS, SVN, VSS etc.
• Familiar with enhancement/defect tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Strong ability to understand business process and logic.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, agile environment.
• Ability to work independently is flexible, self-motivated and a team player.
• Ability to interact positively and effectively in a distributed team environment.
• Programming experience, preferably Object-Oriented Programming.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the product, design and engineering teams to bring automation vision to reality.
• Understand domain, product and business requirements.
• Design or develop test plans/cases for automation tests.
• Build, maintain and enhance Test Automation Framework.
• Configure and maintain testing environments for multiple releases/executions.
• Review test suite execution log files for errors, determine the source of errors, document them in a defect tracking system or fix any issues seen in the automated scripts.
• Continuously enhance framework/scripts to improve daily runs, continuous integration process, and regression run results quality.
• Responsible for source code control and software release activities for automation framework.
• Drive constant improvement of test automation practices and knowledge.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential project risks.
• Contribute to product and process improvements and refinement of QA best practices.
