| Job Description: |
- Develop and implement the institution's IT strategy aligned with academic, research and administrative goals.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centers, software and hardware systems.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant laws and institutional policies.
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing mentoring, supervision, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to support teaching technologies, learning management systems (LMS), and digital transformation initiatives.
- Plan and manage IT budgets, procurement, vendor contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor emerging technologies and trends to recommend and implement innovations.
- Develop and oversee disaster recovery, backup systems, and business continuity plans.
- Ensure timely support and troubleshooting of IT-related issues across campus.
- Maintain and update the institution’s website and online platforms in coordination with relevant departments.
