We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to work under direct supervision and support various accounting and finance functions. The role is 100% remote but full-time, and may occasionally require flexibility beyond standard working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and post daily financial transactions into online accounting software.
• Prepare and update project-wise profitability reports
• Issue sales invoices to clients and record receipts
• Record payments made to vendors and ensure accurate classification
• Maintain monthly schedules for ledgers
• Perform monthly closings, including accruals and depreciation entries
• Handle bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Manage accounts receivable and payable
• Prepare data and summaries for VAT returns
• Present monthly and annual profitability and financial performance reports
• Coordinate with external/internal teams for audits or reporting needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CA part-qualified or similar certifications preferred)
• 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (MUST HAVE) / Google Sheets
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end processes, and project accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Must use time-tracking software during work hours
