Job Description: |
PakAID seeks a professional the Program Manager responsible for overseeing planning, implementing, reporting and quality controlling for program/project interventions. The responsibility will include ensuring grants are completed in timely fashion, within budget, within the required quality standards and in line with agreements in the donor contracts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive mapping of donors to align with organizational strategy, identifying potential funding sources and opportunities for collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with the Country Director to identify and pursue new opportunities, including conducting research on events, publications, and announcements to track and screen potential interventions, as well as identifying trends that may lead to partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate and contribute to the identification, design, formulation, and negotiation of new projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate technical and financial requirements, playing a key role in responding to EOIs, RFPs, developing concept notes and proposals for new projects and programs.
- Develop and update plans and calendars for project development, engaging with multiple staff members for proposal development and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Guide on data collection, management, and verification, ensuring accurate and efficient processes are in place and results are effectively communicated based on both quantitative and qualitative inputs.
- Develop an efficient data collection and analysis system, including processes for collecting and analyzing data and ensuring data quality.
- Support coordination of projects with the UN clusters, humanitarian forums, working groups, and the government. Ensure that PakAid is represented in all relevant emergency forums, working groups and donor meetings.
- Work closely with government and other key partners in the operation area.
· Any other responsibility as assigned by the supervisor or head of office.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Masters/M.Phil. in Social Sciences or in a relevant discipline.
- Total experience of 7- 10 years with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity for donor-funded environment.
- Proven experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or grant writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to engage and inspire potential donors and partners.
- Demonstrated experience with the development of legal contracts including Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), as well as policy and institutional frameworks.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices, donor stewardship, and grant management.
